SCO Family of Services
The project involves the interior renovation of five existing Residential Treatment Facilities (RTFs) on the Briarwood Campus of SCO Family of Services, which provides care for adolescents with serious emotional needs and developmental disabilities.
GW is developing a design standard and selection furnishings to be used for all RTFs. Bathrooms will be refreshed with new fixtures and finishes. Kitchens will be reconfigured to be more open and connected to the dining and living area. Living areas are designed to provide a variety of seating arrangements to accommodate a variety of social settings. The goal of the renovation is to create a more residential, healing environment that is similar to home and does not feel institutional.
