Gertler & Wente Architects was hired to design this elaborate Upper East Side apartment. True to the principles of Art Nouveau, the design meticulously details most elements from light-fixtures, to railings, to fireplaces etc. The details exhibit the graceful organic curves typical of the period. The end-result is a sumptuous design that blends early 20th Century artistry with modern technological convenience.
