The Vascular Interventional Radiology Procedure is a specialty medical suite that includes a patient prep area, changing room, and reception area. Gertler & Wente Architects worked closely with hospital staff and Siemens Medical Systems to design a space with a focus on circulation inside and outside the suite. To achieve this, the shielding was designed to eliminate doors between the control room and procedure room. A ceiling-mounted medical gas, power and electrical track system allows an obstacle-free floor plan.
