A flourishing dermatology practice in Bayside, New York, outgrew its facilities and looked to Gertler & Wente Architects to design their new 8,000 sf building. The two-story steel-frame building has a solid brick base (a reappearing motif in the neighborhood), a glazed curtain wall entrance, and a stucco façade. A glass tower juts out, angled to reflect the curving street, marking the entrance. The strategically placed tower allows sunlight to reach far into the building.
