GW was hired to provide full A/E services for the fit-out of a long term leased building and create a new community-based Diagnostic & Treatment Center focusing on Family Medical and Behavioral Health Services. The programmable space is approximately 10,500 SF.
The proposed new construction will include a total of 25 Exam Rooms of which twelve will be for therapy/consult rooms for Behavioral Health, seven exam rooms for Pediatrics, six exam rooms for Adult Medicine. Exam rooms are strategically positioned to allow for flexing up or down in services used. Support spaces include waiting/reception area, M.A./nurse station, patient & MD consult rooms, medical and administrative staff offices and work areas, med distribution room, blood draw/lab, clean and soiled utility, storage, toilets, staff lounge/lockers. The center itself is located at ground level with convenient front door drop off and easy sidewalk community accessibility. The waiting room is design with specialty lighting, art glass and built in bench seating to maximize capacity. A special design feature is a long art wall that will capture the historical evolution of Ezra Medical in a chronological photographic display taking advantage of the spaces long corridors.
